When you install your donations add on, there are some basic settings you'll need to add if you wish to collect gift-aid or be notified of new donations.
Donations Settings
You'll see these settings when you first install the donations add-on, or else you can access them via Tools & Settings -> Donations Settings.
At the top of your donations page you'll see the tasks you need to complete before you can begin fundraising:

Getting notified of new donations
You can set an email address to be notified of new donations. You can also set a threshold, meaning you'll only be notified of larger donations equal or greater to the amount specified:
Collecting gift-aid
In order to collect gift-aid declarations, you simply need to add your charity name and number in the fundraising settings page:
Then when somone goes to make a donation on your website, they'll be shown the gift aid declaration and the information will be added to your gift aid report.
